Guess what? My BF is moving to Chicago February 1st! So crazy. He had been interviewing with this Chicago firm since like October and they kept calling him back and calling him back, they eventually flew him out to Chicago to meet in person, and next thing he knew he got the job! I'm excited for him but obviously not so excited for the cold Chicago weather for when I go to visit, haha. This outfit reminded me that in other parts of the country, people are still freezing while I'm sweating wearing layers of wool for the sake of fashion (and to keep warm in my office). When my BF and I were talking about his move today, the one positive thing I said: "I'm excited to get to wear my boots more often!" Anyone who knows anything about where to live in Chicago, suggestions for restaurants, etc, are very welcome!

Congrats to your BF! I hope he likes Chi-town! That's only about 3 hours from me down here in lil' old Indianapolis! You'll have fun dressing for the cold when you visit him.
ReplyDeleteI have friends that have lived in the Lincoln Park area or in Wrigleyville, so those areas can't be TOO bad! Good luck to him, and if you really have any specific questions don't hesitate to ask. I'll consult my Chicagoian friends for you.
Thanks so much! If I think of anything to ask I'll def consult you! (And I'm really excited about wearing layers - I just bought a coat today actually)
ReplyDeleteI love this skirt paired with the stripes like that. I always get nervous when I dress up the same skirt, and you just gave me some awesome inspiration! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the link up! Happy Wednesday!
