Two for one deal today because I don't feel either outfit warranted it's own post.
I got so many compliments when I wore this suit and necklace combo. I love how just changing accessories can make a simple look feel different each time. Remember the last time I wore this suit? Same but sorta different, right? I also wore the suit again today to court, jail, a client meeting, (and a very long drive to court in Naples) with my favorite gold curb chain necklace and snake-print pumps.

I bought this Loft paisley sweater on a whim at the mall a few weeks ago during a great sale. The only other yellow item I own is a yellow t-shirt so I thought I could get some use out of this dressier sweater tee. It's also really light weight (and semi-sheer.. I wore a nude bra and you couldn't tell for work) so it's perfect for Miami weather. I also like the array of colors in the paisley. I'd also love to wear this sweater with my red/orange sweater, a burgundy blazer, my army green J. Crew jacket, purple J. Crew blazer, white Zara blazer, blood orange moto jacket.. and on and on. Man, I have a lot of ideas for this little shirt.

Ann Taylor killed my wallet again with their extra 60% off sale. I picked up a few more things that I wanted to try along with some pretty jewelry to slightly update my collection. Did you shop the AT sale?

  1. That print is so nice! I love the bright colours with your jeans :)

  2. OK, I have to ask. What makes 7FAM jeans worth the money and /or special?

  3. lol, good question. I bought these in 2005, so they have great staying power in terms of quality. They look exactly the same as the day I bought them and haven't faded or ripped. That's the only thing I can say about these jeans. I haven't purchased designer denim since probably 2008 because I don't feel they are worth the expense once you have a few pairs (other than if the pairs go out of style - some have, but I refuse to sell them or give them away yet because of how much they cost). In short, I wouldn't recommend purchasing designer denim unless you want to have 1 pair of jeans last you for many years and aren't worried about jeans going out of style. If you are more into fast fashion and expect to buy many pairs of jeans and don't care how long they last, go with the cheaper options
