Maxi dress & fedora

My BF and I took a trip to Naples/Sanibel Island for 4th of July weekend. I packed very light (wore the same pair of shoes everywhere, even to the beach, lol!) but have some outfits to share. The most glaring thing to me in this picture below is the HAT. I have never really been a hat person, but here I am. I ordered like a gazillion hats from Nordstrom a few weeks ago trying to find one to fit my very small head. The only one that fit around the circumference of my head was a TODDLER's size hat. The problem was that although the circumference fit, the brim was toddler sized so it looked like I was wearing some stupid circus hat haha. My search continued. I ended up picking up this Michael Starts one at Nordstrom, which, when I fluff out my hair, isn't too obviously big. It's great for the beach.. and I do live in Florida so I'll get some use out of it!
Dress: Nordstrom (same dress but different pattern)
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (love this one)
Necklaces: Forever 21 (similar)
Shoes: Ellen Tracy (similar, similar)

    Cute look!
I have the opposite hat problem... Only one that fits is a men's and it looks too manly 😱 you've inspired me to keep looking!

  2. I love this look so much! And I have the same problem as ReadwriteTeach Style, my head is too big for most hats, so unless it's a beanie I usually opt out of getting them. I am happy that they are back in style, I think hats are such an unutilized accessory!
