white, blush, and black

I wore this to a Food & Wine Festival event a few weekends ago. Each February, the Food Network comes down to Miami to host a bunch of events. My parents have been coming down the past few years to go to a few events, so I started to join them. This year, we went to 2 events - on Friday night we went to a dinner in Ft. Lauderdale hosted by a chef who is frequently on the show Chopped. Then, on Sunday, we went to the Grand Tasting which is my fav event ever year, it's so worth the price. This outfit was for Friday's event which was unseasonably cold. Felt good to break out my boots though :)

navy, cobalt, & tweed

Guys.. I started a new job, that's why I've been MIA. It's been really stressful and it's of course taking some getting used to (different location, new people, new law etc etc). I'm taking it day by day, just trying to learn as quickly as possible. As for outfits, my firm is similar to the last in that as long as I dress up for court, the office attire doesn't matter so much as long as you look put together. I have a few more outfits to post from my old job before I start getting into new ones (although they should remain the same style). Here is one of the outfits I wore at my last week of work at my old job. I hadn't worn this blouse to work in a while because I've basically sworn off collared shirts for court - the potential to bunch up and look dumb is too great, in my opinion. But I really liked the look of the patterns and textures in this outfit, so maybe I won't swear off THIS collared shirt.
