Turquoise Dress & Home Remodeling

Sorry for the indoor picture - but I had to improvise at the last second because when I went outside to take photos of this outfit, some pool resurfacing workers had just arrived and I was a bit embarrassed to be taking photos of myself in front of them :) The only rooms with enough light in the morning for photos are the guest bedrooms, which were also in the middle of being remodeled at the time. Below, you can see the baseboards were missing. The guest bedrooms were clearly the former owners' kids rooms, and while I certainly understand letting your kid paint their room whatever color they want.... they were eyesores.  This room below was almost the same color as my dress before we put primer on the walls. Last weekend we painted 2 coats of primer to cover the turquoise and re-painted the ceilings, and this weekend (Memorial day weekend) we picked up some paint (an innocuous light blue) and finished painting. Plus the baseboards were installed and we ripped out the old carpet and installed laminate wood ... it's looking 100x better than before! Check out below for some before and afters :)
